🌺🌴 Yesterday was Hawaiian/Lei Day for Red Ribbon Week! Our Warriors rocked their leis and Hawaiian gear while sharing the message “Lei Off Drugs!” ❤️🌺 We’re having fun celebrating Red Ribbon Week and reminding our students to make healthy choices and stay drug-free! ❤️🤍

Our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders had an amazing educational experience at the Great Plains Museum Encampment in Lawton!
Students stepped back in time to learn about life during the 1600s, 1700s, and 1800s. They explored historical demonstrations and learned about blacksmithing, trading posts, chuck wagons, and the environmental impact of overhunting. They even got to learn about the process of loading and firing a cannon! 💥
What a fun, hands-on way to bring history to life! Our students had the opportunity to connect what they’ve learned in the classroom to real-world experiences while making memories along the way. ❤️

🎃🎨 Our 6th graders got creative with a fun fall art project! They used glue and salt to create their own pumpkins and then added a pop of color with paint. We love seeing their creativity shine!

🐋❄️ Learning About Animal Adaptations in First Grade! ❄️🐋
This week, our first graders have been learning all about animal adaptations! Today, they explored how whales have a layer of blubber that helps keep them warm in the icy ocean waters. 🩵
Our students put their hands in cold water and then tried the “blubber” experiment by placing their hands inside a bag with shortening to feel the difference! They got to experience firsthand how blubber helps protect whales from the cold. 🐳🧊
We love making learning hands-on, fun, and memorable!

🚒🔥 Our Chattanooga Elementary students had a great visit to the Chattanooga Fire Station today! Our local firefighters took time to teach our students about fire safety and the important things we can do to keep ourselves and our families safe. ❤️
A big thank-you to our Chattanooga firefighters, Oklahoma Farm Bureau for sponsoring the Fire House program, and our Chatty Volunteers for helping make this experience possible for our students!
